Boston University is deeply committed to supporting our administrative and faculty leadership at key moments throughout their leadership journey at BU and beyond.

Striving for effective leadership is an ongoing and lifelong practice of contemplating and navigating the paradoxes and polarities inherent in the behaviors, expectations, and responsibilities of leaders resulting from the ever-shifting economic, technological, and societal landscape.

Acknowledging the complexity of the work of leadership and the catalytic role leaders play in the success of an institution, Organizational Development & Learning in Human Resources is building a leadership ‘institute’ to support emerging leaders, new leaders, leaders in their mid-career stages, and those aspiring for senior leadership roles.
