LEAP (Leadership Excellence Accelerator Pathway)

This is a pilot program focused on preparing mid-career leaders for the next stage of their leadership journey. In Leadership Excellence Accelerator Pathway [LEAP], a cohort-based program, we will dive deep into leadership mindsets and competencies that prepare you to successfully shift from tactical to strategic leadership and start and build habits necessary for inclusive and transformational leadership effectiveness at BU and beyond.

Are you aspiring to expand and deepen your leadership practice and want to explore the next phase of your leadership journey? Then we invite you to nominate yourself or a member of your team for this pilot program.

Participant Eligibility

To be considered for this program, you must be:

  • In your current role at BU for two or more years.
  • Career level M3-M4 (please speak with your manager to identify your career level, if needed.)
  • Have a performance rating of 4 or higher.
  • Committed and able to attend each of the six modules and a luncheon.
Topics
Kick-off: Centering to purpose & values
Culture of Caring: Nurturing inclusion and belonging
Understanding Self: Emotional Intelligence, Gallup StrengthsFinder, and 360 feedback.
Core Leadership Practices: Trust, influence, humility.
Leading Team: Empowering, elevating, and engaging your team.
Leading Department and Organization: Stewardship, strategy, and business acumen.

 

  • Ensure you meet ALL eligibility requirements
  • Have a completed 250- word Bio
  • Have a written letter of support from your supervisor
  • Can attend all sessions outlined above
