Sophie Fuchs (She/Her/Hers)

Sophie serves as the Online Learning Specialist in the OD&L team, supporting online learning for our employees. She manages the front end of Terrier eDevelopment (TeD), Boston University’s Learning Management System, offering digital learning experiences that build skills, support technical development, and deliver just-in-time resources to the BU community. Sophie also consults with stakeholders to diagnose learning needs and deliver scalable solutions that optimize BU’s systems and outcomes, with the goal to expand access, engagement, and peer connection. 

Sophie has worked in the learning and professional development space in various capacities, including in higher education and for a higher education trade association. She has supported work on competency-based education and adult and professional learning. Sophie received her Ed.M. with a concentration in Instructional Design, Technology and Organization from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  

Originally from Central Massachusetts, Sophie is thrilled to be working for Boston University. She loves cooking, comedy, and spending time with her family.
