Sofie Epshtein (She/Her/Hers)

In her role as Learning and Development Coordinator Sofie oversees logistics and planning for in-person and virtual programs across BU campuses. In addition, she supports in the creation of workshop materials, participant guides, handouts, and job aids. Sofie manages the monthly newsletter, website updates, and inquiries for OD&L services.

Sofie has experience in non-profit programming and a background in Elementary Education.  She brings a depth of knowledge in creating engaging learning experiences and collaborating across a variety of teams. Sofie holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Practice from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Lesley University. Originally from Newton she now resides in Brookline Village. Outside of work, Sofie, a former University of Maryland club tennis player, stays active in the tennis community and enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family and their dogs.
