“I had an non-traditional journey through college and understand a lot of the issues student face. I understand the feeling of imposter syndrome, networking challenges, and other barriers that come with being first-gen. I also think that first-gen students are hard working and resilient and contribute unique perspectives which are important to success. I am empathetic and enjoy working with people of varied backgrounds and cultures.”

Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests: I am very interested in travel – and don’t mind going solo! I actually prefer it, because it encourages more interaction with locals. I spent a summer in Mexico learning Spanish, did volunteer work in South Africa, and have traveled around Europe.
Recently, Wordle was a gateway puzzle to the NYT crosswords – and now I am obsessed – and do them daily!
I also like going to art museums and love being able to use my BU ID to go to the MFA and ICA for free!
