Michelle Njoroge
Academic Advisor
As a former first-generation college student at Boston University, I know how polarizing it can feel at times entering such privileged spaces. First-generation students are not a monolith, so it is important for me to be informed on other students’ experiences so that I can more effectively serve my students. Now that I serve as an academic advisor in CAS, I want students to know that I was once in their shoes and they not only have me in their corner, but an entire network of Advocates.
