Matoaka Kipp
Case Manager, Student Support Services, Dean of Students
My work in higher education has been centered around better supporting students in connecting with basic needs resources. Naturally, first-gen students are often the most creative and resourceful at finding and fostering communities of support. Being a partner in creating those pathways and ensuring that they are as accessible as possible is something I feel deeply invested in. Asking for support is often the hardest action item we have to do and I am grateful to normalize leaning on supports, especially when they are in place to create a more equitable campus experience and world.
