Growing up, I had to navigate the college application and job search process on my own. I know what it is like to be overwhelmed. I took this training to be able to understand what first-generation students need, and how to better support them.

• Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests: In addition to my role as a career counselor, I love camping, hiking and mountain biking with my husband and my dog. I also regularly do acroyoga/ partner acrobatics which teaches me how to work as a team to create fun and silly shapes with the human body. Lastly, I love arts and crafts, whether that is card making, bullet journaling and painting with watercolor.
