David DeCamp
Educational Technologist
My office supports faculty use of technology for classroom use and piloting new technologies. One of our core priorities is addressing high enrollment lecture courses and trying to find ways to make them more inclusive and equitable spaces for all students, including first-gen students, and I was interested in understanding the first-gen college experience, their specific needs and expectations for college courses, and hearing directly from first-gen students. I’m especially interested in the tech needs and expectations for courses at BU, but also the more general college experience and learning needs of first-gen students at BU.
