When I arrived for my first day at university as an undergraduate, it was the first time I’d been on campus—I didn’t know you could, probably should, look around beforehand. I’d like to be able to help others who—like I once did—are navigating the strange, exciting, freeing, and complex new world of higher education. I did it alone—I hope you won’t have to. I’ve worked in many cities and two countries, so please also get in touch if you’d like to talk about how you prepare for what comes next, from internships to interviews to working overseas.

I’m a big football (the soccer kind) fan and love lots of outdoor activities: cycling, hiking, climbing mountains, kayaking. I haven’t quite adapted to winter sports, but I’m getting there with cross county skiing. I have two young kids and one pesky cat called Kylo (who, like his namesake, often switches between the dark and light side of the force).
