Especially now in the world we live in, I believe it’s very important to build community and meet folks where they’re at. BU and higher ed in general is a very complex system to navigate; I received my undergrad degree at BU and work full time at BU, yet there’s always something to learn about how things work here. Through my experiences and knowledge of BU, I want to support first gen students in navigating this system, whether that’s connecting students with resources, or just acting as a sounding board. My hope is that I can share the information I’ve learned to help students build a strong, supportive community at BU that not only will make the transition to college smoother, but also stick with them past their years at university.

- Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests: I come from a semi-rural town outside of Albany, NY, so I’m always itching to get out of the city to reconnect with nature. However, a lot of my time goes towards working on my Master of Public Health (MPH), so much of my evenings and weekends is spent on that. When I’m not working on my MPH, I enjoy reading (send me your recs! I’ll read just about anything), watercolor painting, and building Lego.
