Upcoming Career Research Sessions at Pardee Library

Pardee Library will be offering the following career research sessions over the next several weeks.

Company Information for Career Research

Learn how to create company lists by industry and geographic location and locate company profiles and news. The databases covered in these sessions will include Reference USA, Nexis Uni, Mergent Online, Hoover’s Company Records, Factiva and CB Insights.

Saturday, February 17 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Saturday, February 24 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Monday, February 26 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Industry Information for Career Research

These sessions will cover the library databases that will be helpful for learning about your industry, such as Vault, First Research Industry Reports, Factiva, CB Insights and the Industry Survey Locator.

Wednesday, March 14 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM (Entertainment, Sports & Fitness)
Thursday, March 15 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Health Management)
Monday, March 19 5:30 PM –  6:00 PM (GreenTech/Renewable Energy)
Wednesday, March 21 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM (Marketing and Advertising)
Thursday, March 22 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Technology)
