Featured Resource: Policy Map
Policy Map is a wonderful database for Education data available through the BU Libraries. An easy-to-use online mapping and visualization tool, the database provides downloadable U.S. demographic, economic and social data by city, state, zip code, county, or census tract. Look for the Education menu option near the top of the screen to see the various data available in this topic, including;
- School Performance (data from GreatSchools.org);
- School District Performance;
- Student Loan Debt;
- Educational Attainment;
- and many other variables.
Other top menu options include crime, housing, health, and occupations. The data currently includes more than 37,000 indicators and has been derived from public and proprietary sources.
