Women’s History Month Transcribe-a-thon on 3/21

March 13th, 2017

Join us at the BU Libraries Transcribe-a-thon to celebrate Women’s History Month and help transcribe historical documents from the Smithsonian Museums.

What: BU Libraries Women’s History Month Transcribe-a-thon
When: Tuesday, March 21, 12:30-2:00 pm
Where: Mugar Library, Room 302

Bring your laptop and help us make women’s history more accessible! No experience with transcribing is necessary—we’ll help you get started! We’ll be using the Smithsonian Digital Volunteers tool, so you will need to create a free account: https://transcription.si.edu/.

This event is free and open to faculty, staff, students, and others at Boston University and in the Boston area. We’ll also be providing a pizza lunch. RSVP using our online form. When you RSVP, you can let us know if you need a laptop, and we will provide one for you.
