Featured resource: Readers Guide Retrospective, covers magazines 1890-1982
The library maintains a subscription to the well-known database READER’S GUIDE RETROSPECTIVE. This great resource provides abstracts for the articles from more than 370 of the most popular general-interest periodicals published in the United States and Canada from 1890 – 1982, including titles such as the Saturday Evening Post. Through this coverage students can gain key perspective on many of the most important events in history, such as the moon landing and World War II.
The Reader’s Guide Retrospective database grew out of the print serial Reader’s Guide to Periodical Literature, which provided a printed bibliographic compilation of new publications by subject listings for many decades in the twentieth century.
