Letter to White House on Open Educational Resources

White House LetterThe Boston Library Consortium (“BLC”) and an alliance of 90 education, library, technology, public interest and legal organizations, recently asked the White House to take administrative action to ensure federally funded educational materials are made available as Open Educational Resources that are free to use, share and improve.  Boston University is a member of the BLC.

The letter was initiated by SPARC in response to the White House Office and Science and Technology Policy’s (OSTP) request for ideas to strengthen the U.S. Open Government National Action Plan currently in development.
