Congratulations to Dr. Célia Bianconi!

We are delighted to announce that our colleague, Dr. Célia Bianconi, was awarded the 2022 Frank and Lynne Wisneski Award for Excellence in Teaching in the College of Arts & Sciences. The award was announced on May 4, 2022. The award is given annually to “members of the CAS faculty who exemplify deep and broad skill, effectiveness, impact, and leadership in teaching.” In addition, Dr. Bianconi has been an active CLAS collaborator and enriched the Center’s programming during the 2021-2022 academic year, in particular, as co-organizer of Indigenous History, Languages & Cultures Week, a week-long series of talks by indigenous artists, writers, activists, and educators. Congratulations, Dr. Bianconi!

The Center for Latin American Studies at Boston University is proud of BU’s history of diversity and inclusion.
