Join us on October 16th for an information session on the David Scott Palmer Grants. This event offers prospective applicants a comprehensive overview of eligibility criteria, application procedures, and helpful tips for crafting a successful proposal. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the session provides valuable guidance and a chance to have your questions answered.

Former Palmer Grant recipient Shandra Back will join us to share insights about her experience and how the grant supported her research. These small research awards help cover expenses for projects focused on Latin America, including, when permissible, travel to the region. Projects related to Latinos in the U.S. are also eligible. Additionally, funding is available for conference participation.

The session will be held in a hybrid format. Please register to attend either in person or via Zoom. Light lunch will be served for those attending in person. We look forward to seeing you there!
