Una conversación (en español) con Pablo Sánchez (05.25.21)

Join us on Tuesday, May 25, for a conversation (in Spanish) with author Pablo Sánchez about his new book, Yo no he muerto en México (March 2021). The book tells the story of Alejandro Ramírez, a young Spanish literature professor who, tired of the Spain of the early 21st century, gets a job at a Mexican university in Cholula, the oldest living city in America, widely considered the Jerusalem of the pre-Hispanic world.

Pablo Sánchez nació en Barcelona en 1970. Es doctor en Filología Hispánica por la Universidad de Barcelona y durante varios años fue profesor de literatura en México. Actualmente trabaja como investigador Ramón y Cajal en la Universidad de Sevilla y estudia las relaciones entre literatura e ideología en los años sesenta del siglo XX. Su primera novela, Caja negra, obtuvo en 2005 el Premio Lengua de Trapo.
