Incurables: Relatos de dolencias y males (08.04.20)

Join us on Tuesday, August 4 at 12 noon, for a roundtable discussion of Incurables: Relatos de dolencias y males (Spanish Edition) with editor Oswaldo Estrada and contributor Carlos Villacorta. The twenty stories in this anthology center touch on the experience of disease. The stories treat a variety of ailments, whether of body, mind, or soul, experienced by a group of Latin American immigrants.

Oswaldo Estrada a fiction writer, essayist, and professor of Latin American literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Carlos Villacorta is Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of Maine. He received his PhD in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from Boston University.
