Armed Conflict, Peace Processes and the challenges of Peacebuilding in Colombia
‘Armed Conflict, Peace Processes and the challenges of Peacebuilding in Colombia‘ will be delivered by the Political Science department at Uniandes. The 3-week program will be run by Angelika Rettberg, Director of the Masters in Peacebuilding at Uniandes and will explore the recent history of the Colombian conflict and the challenges of the current peace process in Cuba.
It is open to undergraduate students from a range of arts, humanities and social science subjects, and is aimed particularly at those with an interest in conflict resolution and international relations in Latin America. The course is arranged as a package that includes accommodation, and students will be housed as a group in supervised hotel accommodation close to the university campus. It includes a schedule of site visits and academic excursions as part of the academic provision.
