Gallagher on China’s Venezuela Investment

Kevin Gallagher, Professor of Global Development Policy at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, said based on an annual report published by the Inter-American Dialogue Center, China is bolstering investments made in Latin America while other countries and institutions are moving in the opposite direction.

Gallagher made the argument in a Feb. 21 article in Noticias Bancarias, entitled “Venezuela, the Second Country in Latin America That Gets More Funding From China.”
