Yige Qin

Yige Qin is a first year in Sargent College, majoring in Health Sciences. She is interested in an interdisciplinary approach to design and how design can intersect with different fields of study to create innovative solutions. She is eager to learn more about urban issues, especially ones surrounding the unhoused populations and the effects of climate change on cities. As a communications assistant, she is excited to develop her skills in design and communication and how to effectively engage people to be more thoughtful about urban issues.

Yige is also passionate about using art and design to empower and support humanitarian causes and is secretary for Art for the Heart. This organization sells art pieces and donates proceeds to charity. In her free time, Yige likes to draw and explore the city of Boston, especially the food!
