- BA, College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Political Science (’25)
Jaclyn (she/her) is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences pursuing a BA in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy. As an aspiring housing and urban policy professional, she is extremely excited to continue exploring urban issues faced on campus and beyond, especially through the IOC’s #BUandBoston series.
Passionate about affordable housing, immigrant rights, and feminist & LGBTQ+ issues, Jaclyn channels her policy interests both in and outside her work at the IOC. In the summer of 2024, Jaclyn worked as an intern for the National Immigration Forum, where she created educational resources and multimedia digital content on pertinent immigration topics. Back at home in Highland Park, NJ, Jaclyn is an active member of her community and has been heavily involved in helping her local homeless women’s shelter and fighting period poverty. Jaclyn hopes to further her knowledge and experience in urban planning and policy to better understand how to combat the disenfranchisement of women, people of color, those in the LGBTQ+ community, refugees, people who are incarcerated, and more.
In her free time, Jaclyn loves singing, music, and playing the guitar, devoting her time as the Music Director of BU’s a cappella group Chordially Yours!
