Originally from Guangzhou, China, I hold an undergraduate degree in Journalism and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in advertising at Boston University’s College of Communications.

Since 2017, content creation has been one of my passions. Through self-made content, like vlogs and other videos, I have gained over 100,000 followers and accumulated more than 5 million views on my Bilibili channel which is a Chinese version of YouTube. Inspired by the idea that creativity fuels fortune, I dedicated myself to creating high- quality and meaningful videos to further enhance my personal brand. My experience with content creation not only provided my first taste of entrepreneurial success but also grounded me in digital content practice.

I also enjoy urban exploration, from discovering the hidden stories of cities to exploring the natural beauty of their outskirts. With a deep-rooted passion for human geography, I am intrigued by the intricate ways in which history, culture, climate, and urban planning come together to shape the distinctive character and functionality of a city. Variety of factors are influencing not only the city’s physical form but also the rhythm of daily life for residents. I am excited to find out the hidden stories of a city which allows me to build a unique connection between the past and the present.

As a Multimedia Assistant at the IOC, I look forward to using my video production skills to help strengthen the impact of IOC on the city of Boston. By creating diverse and interesting video content on social media, my goal is to enhances Boston University’s social media presence while deepening connections within the Boston community.
