Grace Lin

Student Office Assistant

Grace Lin (she/her) is currently an undeclared major in the College of Arts and Sciences from Saratoga, CA. She’s exploring her interests across technology and the social sciences while continuing to develop her skills in writing and design.

Grace has always been drawn to creative work that brings people together, from leading her art-based nonprofit to designing magazine spreads. Through Art4Hearts, a wellness initiative Grace started in high school, she has worked to bring creative activities and art therapy resources to people worldwide, helping make art a way for others to feel connected and supported. She also spent four years writing and editing for her high school news publication, where she developed a love for telling stories about the people and issues around her. At the IOC, she hopes to learn more about the challenges cities face and help share IOC’s research and events with the broader BU community.

In her free time, Grace enjoys oil painting, discovering new cafes, baking cookies, and shooting film.
