Astraea Augsberger
Assistant Professor, Boston University School of Social Work
Astraea Augsberger is interested in child welfare workforce development and the transition to adulthood for court involved youth, and youth participation in decision-making practices. She is currently teaching courses including Introduction to Clinical Practice with Individuals, Families and Groups and Clinical Practice with Individuals.
Augsberger is co-leading a research project along with Mary Collins studying the role and efficacy of Youth Councils in Mayors Offices around the country, sponsored by the IOC.
Augsberger served on the inaugural IOC Faculty Advisory Board for the 2015 – 2016 Academic Year.
