Ariana Lim

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Education
BA, College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Economics (’26)

Ari (she/her) is a sophomore in the College of Arts & Sciences pursuing a BA in economics and a minor in French from Harrington Park, New Jersey. She joined the IOC as a research assistant! As an economics major, I’m passionate about learning about behavioral economics, a combination of economics and psychology that helps to understand how and why people behave in certain situations. Behavioral economics is important to me because it provides valuable insights into various public policies and general well-being and helps people make better decisions.

Outside of the IOC, Ariana is involved in a few clubs on campus. She is the Vice President of Administrative Affairs for Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed professional fraternity. She does illustrations for the Daily Free Press.

She likes taking 35mm film photography and listening to Boygenius in her free time.
