The Boston University Initiative on Cities hosted a webinar exploring how small and midsize cities are advancing climate action – and the creative strategies they are using to fund and implement it. The event will spotlight findings from a recent BU study examining climate action across 82 U.S. municipalities. The research shows that while most cities are undertaking climate initiatives, the actions pursued and their management vary widely.
Following a brief presentation of the study, a panel of practitioners from Albany, NY; Ann Arbor, MI; and Burlington, VT discussed how these findings align with on-the-ground experience and what lessons can guide cities nationwide.
