Join the Boston University Initiative on Cities for a webinar exploring how small and midsize cities are advancing climate action – and the creative strategies they are using to fund and implement it. The event will spotlight findings from a recent BU study examining climate action across 82 U.S. municipalities. The research shows that while most cities are undertaking climate initiatives, the types of actions pursued and the ways they are managed vary widely.
Following a brief presentation of the study, a panel of practitioners from Albany, NY, Ann Arbor, MI, and Burlington, VT will discuss how these findings align with on-the-ground experience and what lessons can guide cities nationwide.
