Faculty Friday: Noora Lori
Each week, Faculty Friday highlights a member of the IOC Faculty Advisory Board by exploring their work at Boston University and examining their impact on urban studies and city development. This week, we’re speaking with Noora Lori.
Noora Lori is an Assistant Professor of International Relations in the Pardee School of Global Studies, as well as the Founding Director of the Pardee School Initiative on Forced Migration and Human Trafficking. Her work examines the political economy of migration, and she focuses on migration movements and political identity formation in the Persian Gulf and Middle East.
