PhD Student | history of gender and culture in modern Britain

Katie entered the PhD program in 2023. She received a dual BA in History and Political Science at the University of Vermont before coming to BU. She studies modern British history with Professor Arianne Chernock, with a focus on political culture and print media in the 19th and 20th centuries. In previous research she has also studied gender, sexuality, and monarchy.
