PhD Candidate | Chinese educational history; Global Catholicism; Digital Humanities
Greta Frei entered the PhD program in 2022 and is advised by Dr. Eugenio Menegon. She received a BS in Computer Science along with a supplemental major in Chinese from the University of Notre Dame. Her research focuses on American Catholic schools for girls in China during the first half of the 20th century. She leverages her technical training to explore how computational methods can enhance the process of historical inquiry.
