J.D./M.A. | mid to late 20th century American history; historiography, memory and mythmaking

she/her/hers

Edie has spent nearly a decade working for the Forest Service in Southeast Alaska as a forestry and wilderness technician. After years of field work and employment in the public sector, she is excited to be returning to school and will be pursuing a joint JD/MA. She graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College in 2014, where she concentrated in mid to late 20th century American history, with a special interest in the Vietnam War. She is also broadly interested in historiography, and how memory and mythmaking shape historical narratives.
