BU History PhD Christopher Conz Wins ASEH Prize for Article

Christopher Conz, a BU History PhD and Lecturer in African History at Tufts University, has won the American Society for Environmental History’s Alice Hamilton Prize for best article outside journal Environmental History. The award went to Conz’s article “Sheep, Scab Mites, and Society: The Process and Politics of Veterinary Knowledge in Lesotho, Southern Africa, c. 1900-1933,” which was published in Environment and History in August 2020.
