Vasiliki (Vasia) Kalavri is an Assistant Professor at Boston University, Department of Computer Science. Her research focuses on distributed stream processing systems and large-scale graph analytics. Before joining BU, Vasia was a postdoctoral fellow at ETH Zurich and received a joint PhD from KTH (Sweden) and UCLouvain (Belgium). Vasia has co-authored the book “Stream Processing with Apache Flink” and was an early contributor to the popular stream processing framework.
