Assistant Professor, Mathematics & Statistics

Mickey Salins is an assistant professor in the department of mathematics and statistics. He earned his PhD at the University of Maryland, College Park where he worked with his advisor Sandra Cerrai. Salins’s research focuses mostly on properties of stochastic partial differential equations. Much of his research concerns the analysis of rare events, and anomalous long-time behaviors of stochastic systems.
