Maryam Aliakbarpour is a postdoc scholar at Boston University (BU) with a joint position at Northeastern University. Before BU, she spent a year as a postdoc at UMass Amherst. In 2020, Maryam received her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Theory of Computation (TOC) group at CSAIL, MIT, where Prof. Ronitt Rubinfeld advised her. In 2015, she received her M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. Before coming to MIT, she earned a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran).
