James Chapman, PhD

Dr. James Chapman is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020 and completed his postdoctoral work at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2022. His current research focuses on the fusion of physics-driven simulations and machine learning to discover and design new materials for energy, corrosion, and pollution mitigation technologies.
