Hilary Miller is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Boston University where she studies neural control of speech in Dr. Frank Guenther’s Speech Neuroscience Lab. Hilary received a dual B.S./B.A. degree in Chemistry and Spanish and a M.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of New Hampshire. She is a certified speech-language pathologist and worked clinically in Vermont and New Hampshire public schools prior to beginning her doctoral studies. Her research interests are focused on applying neurocomputational models and neuroimaging methods to understand the neural bases of motor speech disorders.
