Edward C. (Eddie) Ruiz is a research scientist with over ten years of experience in the fields of genomics, stem cells, and computational biology. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Dries Lab, where he previously completed his PhD in the Genetics and Genomics program at Boston University and was a Hariri Institute Graduate Student Fellow

His current research focuses on spatial omics and the development of open source software to analyze large-scale scientific datasets.
