Erik Larsen

Technical Staff, Bioanalytical Systems and Technologies, MIT Lincoln Laboratory

Erik Larsen is a Member of the Technical Staff in Bioanalytical Systems and Technologies at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He is a biomedical engineer who develops technologies that advance health and human performance by translating scientific research into practical tools for clinical, industrial, and defense applications. His work spans digital biomarkers, voice and behavioral sensing, translational research, and health and readiness monitoring. Across startups, industry, and government-facing programs, he has led multidisciplinary teams in developing systems that perform reliably in real-world operational environments. Prior to joining MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Erik was Senior Vice President of Clinical Development and Customer Success at Sonde Health. He has also held research and leadership roles at Decibel Therapeutics (now part of Regeneron), McKinsey & Company, and Philips. Erik earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from MIT and master’s degrees in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology and in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
