Institute Junior Faculty Fellows, Research Awardees and AIR Core member Receive Tenure

The institute is pleased to announce that Junior Faculty Fellow Cara Stepp, Hariri Research Awardees Marié Abe and Joanna Davidson and AI Research Initiative Core Faculty member Kate Saenko are 4 of 24 faculty members on the Charles River Campus promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure. Ranging from fields such as social and health sciences, information systems, musicology, mathematics, marketing, and communication, these faculty members are having demonstrable impact in their disciplines and excelling as teachers in classrooms and laboratories. The core work of the Hariri Institute for Computing focuses on empowering a community of scholars — enabled by rapid advances in computational and data-driven techniques — to advance our collective knowledge. The Institute community spans 43 departments and 11 schools and colleges. Such diversity highlights the importance of computing in nearly every eld, and underscores the critical role of the Institute in catalyzing cross-disciplinary collaborations.
