The Graduate Program in Religion offers a Ph.D. degree in religious studies. When applying for admission to the program, graduate students will choose an area of specialization within one of six specializations:

  • Buddhist Studies
  • Islamic Studies
  • Jewish Studies
  • Religions in American Culture
  • Religions of the Ancient Mediterranean World
  • Religion in Philosophy, Politics, and Society

The Program adheres to all Graduate School of Arts and Sciences policies and requirements as outlined in the opening pages of their Bulletin.
