“This is Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest mountain, seen from Lake Tanuki in Shizuoka, about 90 miles south-west of Tokyo. The symmetrical cone that Mt. Fuji is known for was snow-capped in early January. Just moments before the photo was taken, the inverted Mt. Fuji was clearly reflected on to the lake. Unfortunately, the winter breeze blew most of it away, but you can still just about catch a glimpse of it.”
