Don’t talk about Implicit Bias without talking about Structural Racism
This article explains how implicit bias is developed in three stages: Priming, Association, and Assumption. This article also explains how structural inequalities are upheld through the combined workings of cultural priming and assumptions, historical practices and policies, and inequitable outcomes and racial disparities.
