Why specialty care at GSDM?

At BU Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, our specialty care clinics offer a full range of advanced dental treatments. Patients receive care from skilled dental residents who are completing advanced training under the close guidance of experienced faculty. As part of a teaching institution, we use the latest dental technology and are able to offer high-quality care—often at a lower cost than most private practices.

Cosmetic Treatments

Facial cosmetic and rejuvenation treatments, including injectables like Botox® and Dysport.

Endodontics

The diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to dental pulp or “the nerve” through root canal treatments.

Pediatric Dentistry

A wide range of dental and oral healthcare for children from newborns to age 18.

Periodontology

Treats gum diseases, gum infections, and gum recessions as well as the placement of dental implants.

Prosthodontics

The restoration and replacement of teeth with implants, dentures, crowns, and bridges.

Oral Surgery

The diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries and defects affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck; addresses a range of issues, from tooth extractions to complex jaw reconstruction. 

Orthodontics

Uses dental appliances, such as braces, to move teeth and/or jaws to create a healthy and attractive smile.
