With COVID-19 and high expected voter turnout, we have a poll worker shortage across the U.S.. The MA Safe Elections Network has partnered with local officials to help recruit and train people around the state to become poll workers. Anyone with a Massachusetts address (including a dorm address) can become a poll worker this year. This training is especially encouraged for permanent Massachusetts residents. Faculty, Alumni, and Graduate Students are welcome. Whether you’re already signed up to work the polls or you just want to find out more information, this event is for you! You can register to become a poll worker: https://www.safeelectionsma.org/become-a-poll-worker Led by BU's Undergraduate Student Government, BU Votes, the BU Community Service Center, and Boston Intercollegiate Government, VoteBIG is a week-long intercollegiate campaign that informs and empowers students within the Greater Boston area to vote.
