What else are you involved with on campus?
Why did you choose to be a PM for your program?
I chose to be a PM for the Student Food Rescue program because I have volunteered at food pantries both back home and in Boston, but I wanted to partner with a broader range of communities across the city. I also wanted to create a space and community for students at BU to unite in fighting food insecurity and reaching different neighborhoods. This role allows me to combine my passion for service while creating meaningful relationships between students and the communities we serve.
What is something about your program you are looking forward to?
I’m excited to explore the different neighborhoods in Boston and build closer connections with the communities we serve. I’m also looking forward to meeting all the Student Food Rescue volunteers at BU and joining them on food runs. I am excited to be part of a team that shares a commitment to hands-on service.
Why do you think people should get involved with the CSC?
I think people should get involved with the CSC because it’s a powerful way to connect with the Boston community while making a real impact. It gives students the chance to step outside the BU bubble and learn from the experiences of others. The CSC also helps build a strong sense of purpose and belonging through service.
