Assistant Professor
Chang Xiao is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Boston University. His research lies broadly in human-computer interaction, human-AI interaction, graphics, and AR/VR, particularly at the intersections of these areas, where novel ways of augmenting human capability and interaction can be unlocked.
Prior to joining BU, he was a Research Scientist at Adobe Research. He earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University and his Bachelor’s degree from Zhejiang University. His work has been featured at Adobe Summit, CNN, CACM, and Adweek. He also regularly serves as a program committee member for several prestigious ACM conferences on HCI (e.g., CHI, UIST).
