Upgrades to classrooms campus-wide continued over the summer. Several Registrar classrooms in the basement of 725 Commonwealth Avenue and 64-96 Cummington Mall were reconfigured to meet new teaching and instructional needs. The classrooms received upgraded media, LED lighting, and new furniture, affecting more than 460 seats. In addition, the HVAC system serving the classrooms in the basement of 725 Commonwealth Avenue was upgraded to be more energy efficient. Since the summer of 2010 alone, the University has outfitted more than 150 University Registrar classrooms campus-wide with both cosmetic updates and new technology.
